This lecture will focus on lending helpful treatment planning and procedural considerations toward decreasing the incidence of early implant complications and failures. With implant failures on the rise in the dental field, it is crucial to “read the caution signs,” to avoid complications and to ultimately achieve predictable outcomes.

Tamir Wardany, DDS, DABOI

Dr. Tamir Wardany is one of the few board-certified oral implantologist in California, who holds diplomate status with the American Board of Oral Implantology. He limits his practice exclusively to the surgical component of implant and bone augmentation procedures. He earned his dental degree from Meharry Medical College and pursued further training, including a fellowship in implant dentistry at the State University of New York at Stonybrook and extensive international training in Europe. Dr. Wardany conducts clinical research and collaborates with Stanford University’s Department of Reconstructive Surgery on studies related to bone regeneration and dental implant biology. He serves as a product advisor for Geistlich Biomaterials, lectures for Straumann and Geistlich Biomaterials, and is a member of the International Team for Implantology and the Osteology Foundation, both dedicated to advancing research in implant surgery and graft procedures.
