This course will provide an overview of the dental profession from your patients’ view to the dentists’ challenges. Dentistry will remain a “people business,” but to provide the very best care and environment for your patients, there will need to be a strong foundation of business principles for a practice to remain competitive and even thrive. The course will also provide a foundation for an exchange of best practice tips from the audience and the presenter.

Presented by: Craig S. Yarborough, DDS, MBA
Craig S. Yarborough, DDS, MBA is the associate dean for the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He previously practiced general dentistry for 13 years in his hometown of Lodi, just south of the capital city. Since his graduation, he has given back to his profession through his involvement at all levels of organized dentistry’s tripartite—leading various councils, committees and boards. With a son and daughter who have graduated from dental school in the last five years, he has a keen interest in the profession that is ahead for them.
