This course will provide a comprehensive review of managing the TMD patient. Emphasis will be placed on identification of dysfunctional occlusion in addition to a systematic approach to both orthodontic and restorative care.

Course Objectives:

  • Attendees will earn a comprehensive strategy for treatment of the complex restorative patient, beginning with detailed diagnostic records along with multidisciplinary treatment planning from the very start of the case.
  • Web based communication methods along with digital diagnostics as a mechanism to improve treatment outcomes.
  • Numerous cases will be used to demonstrate the principles outlined.

Mark N. Coreil, DDS is a Board Certified orthodontist. He has worked with children who have craniofacial problems over the past ten years. Dr. Coreil is Associate Professor of Clinical Orthodontics at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and is actively involved as an orthodontist on the Children’s Hospital Cleft and Craniofacial Team. Dr. Coreil graduated from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 1986 and completed his orthodontic specialty training at LSU in 1988. Dr. Coreil completed the Roth/Williams Advanced Clinical Program in 1993. Dr. Coreil has lectured both nationally and internationally for the past 20 years.
