SUMMARY:GM – Understanding Immediate Load Full Arch Prostheses: From Tried and True to Emerging Technologies
DESCRIPTION:Understanding Immediate Load Full Arch Prostheses: From Tried and True to Emerging Technologies (In-person course)\n3 CEU\, Core • Member Price: $85 early (ends 2/27)\nRegistration cost details: $85 early (ends 2/27) / $95 regular (begins 2/28) / $99 late (begins 3/11) \nAfter nearly 20 years of the immediate load full arch concept\, dentistry has gained an appreciation of the protocols needed for long-term success. Yet this treatment concept is undergoing another revolution with the evolution of definitive restorative materials\, the advent of improved intra-oral scanning technology\, and in-office printing. This program will review the important foundation concepts for full arch implant-supported prostheses\, while updating protocols for current restorative materials\, and how evolving technologies can improve the patient experience. This is a must for practitioners who diagnose and perform this complex treatment. \nLearning Objectives: \n\nUnderstand the tried and true concepts that are the foundation for predictable results.\nHow the use of zirconia as a definitive restorative material requires modification of particular foundational concepts.\nDiscover how current intra-oral scanning partnered with new acquisition devices and in-office printing can provide a prototype prosthesis on the day of surgery.\n\n\n \nQuincy L. Gibbs\, DDS\, FACP\, Diplomate\, American Board of Prosthodontics\nDr. Quincy Gibbs completed his DDS at the University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2004. This event will highlight how the office OSHA manual remains the most important aspect of the requirements for compliance. So grab your OSHA manual\, your favorite lunchtime beverage\, and let’s chat about how easy it can be to manage your compliance standards. We will discuss the following: \n\nContent requirements of a compliance plan\nAnnual training and maintenance of a compliance plan\nHow every member of the dental team can participate in your ongoing success without the need for facilitation using resources readily available to the dental community\n\n\n \nLaDonna Drury–Klein\, RDA\, BS; The FADE Institute (SDDS Vendor Member)\nMs. LaDonna Drury-Klein completed her dental assisting education and her national dental assisting board examinations just as California established the RDA license. During her 18 years as a chairside clinician\, she earned degrees in biological sciences and business management before completing her teacher credentialing in higher education from UC Berkeley Extension. Ms. Klein worked for three community college-based vocational programs teaching dental sciences\, began a very successful consulting firm for dental office compliance\, and served as Assistant Vice President of Education for the California Dental Association\, during which time she consulted and worked very closely on legislation to bring the dental assisting duties into statute. \nMs. Klein served as a two-time appointee to the Dental Board of California for Governor Gray Davis and is often called upon to assist in developing regulatory and statutory language for dental assisting-related oversight. \nMs. Klein established the Foundation for Allied Dental Education as a non-profit\, public benefit entity serving to support the educational and professional development needs of all allied dental healthcare personnel. She is currently the Executive Director of the Foundation for Allied Dental Education and is the Chief Operating Officer of the FADE Institute. \n \nRegister with Fillable PDF»\nSign up online » \nTerms and Conditions: \nCancellation/Refund Policy\nFull refund granted less $25 administration fee\, if received in writing 14 days before the class.
