With all the new HIPAA rules and changes, dentists and their staffs need to know what to do, how to do it and what the concerns should be. Are you referring patients back and forth? Teresa Pichay is a practice analyst with the California Dental Association. She has worked for CDA since 1995, specializing in many of the regulatory issues impacting the practice of dentistry. Teresa works within CDA Practice Support developing regulatory compliance resources for posting online, and providing guidance and information directly to members.
