After earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1982\, he completed a General Practice Residency with the U.S. Army and served both on active duty and in the Army Reserves. He also served as an adjunct professor in restorative dentistry at UCSF School of Dentistry. \nOver the course of his career\, Dr. Malick successfully built and operated multiple private practices throughout California before focusing exclusively on the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea\, orofacial pain\, and oral pathology. His passion for dental sleep medicine began in 2007\, leading him to pursue extensive advanced training and research through the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine\, where he reviewed more than 1\,700 scientific articles in preparation for board certification. \nToday\, Dr. Malick is a trusted referral partner for leading medical groups including Sutter Health\, UC Davis Health\, and others throughout Northern California.
