As determined by SB1343, the new law effective January 1, 2019, all employers/supervisors must have harassment prevention training BEFORE December 31, 2019. (A very recent bill, SB778, has extended the deadline to January 1, 2021)
This course will suffice for the mandatory employer/supervisor training and will expand to include information on bystander training and third party harassment.

Mari Bradford is an HR Advisor with the California Employers Association and supports CEA members as well as the hotlines. An experienced HR Generalist, Mari has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communications from CSU Sacramento and her PHR from the Society for Human Resource Management.
Before joining CEA in 2005, Mari held HR Management positions for both small and large companies in the Software and IT industry. An expert on California employment law and compliance matters, Mari is also a skilled trainer in wage and hour compliance. Mari’s excellent communication skills allow her to deliver trainings that are educational as well as entertaining. She is familiar with all of the challenges that managers and owners can face when running a business in California.
