Bulk Fill, Dual Cure Composites. Proven to be Better, Faster and Longer Lasting!, Dr. David Roholt
Recent research validates that, when properly bonded and placed, bulk fill, dual cure composites have much less micro-leakage than ANY light cured composites. I will share my 20+ years of clinical success and show that they are less technique sensitive, require fewer steps and provide a more predictable, long lasting restoration.
Accelerated Orthodontics, Dr. Brandon Martin
How long will my orthodontic treatment take? This is the most common question I answer during every new patient consultation. Treatment time reduction has shifted from modifying mechanics to modifying biology. Different strategies ranging from wilkodontics and piezocision to vibratory forces and light stimulation will be reviewed.
Lasers in Your Practice, Dr. Joelle Speed
An introduction into what Laser Dentistry can add to your practice. This will include a discussion of both soft tissue/hard tissue lasers, what types exist on the market, and what procedures they are used for. There are major positives to incorporating laser dentistry including increased revenue by being able to offer more procedures, generally faster post-op healing, and more conservative dentistry. Are there any negatives? Discussion will include how lasers can truly change the dental experience for your patients and why you may want to incorporate lasers into your practice.
Guided Implant Placement, Dr. Jag Heir
Guided implant surgery offers a predictable implant-based solution for the dentate and edentulous patient by proper pre-operative planning for bone grafting and implant placement from a single implant to a complex eight implant solution for a single jaw. This lecture will present an overview of the principles associated with Guided Implant Surgery along with clinical case presentations and treatment results.
Advanced Bone Grafting vs Graft-Less Approach in Dental Implant Rehabilitation, Dr. Alexander Antipov
The advantages and importance of bone grafting in dental implantology cannot be overstated, but for variety of reasons graft-less approach offers an ultimate solution, especially in full arch cases. Let’s see for ourselves. To graft or not to graft, remains the question.
Steps to Reduce the Risk of Peri-Implantitis, Dr. Ash Vasanthan
As dental implants have become a part of everyday dentistry, more and more patients are treated with this modality for missing teeth. Maintaining healthy implants along with healthy teeth will become the “Cornerstone of Oral health”. With increasing number of dental providers offering implant services with varying levels of knowledge, training and experience, the incidence and prevalence of Peri-implantitis is and will be on the rise. Since there is no clear guideline for the management or predictable treatment concept, prevention of peri-implantitis is key.
