Temporaries – Tricky, Taxing, Terrible or Terrific?

Sponsored by Dentsply

2 CEU, Core • $80

This 2 hour hands-on workshop, co-sponsored by Dentsply Sirona, will provide you and/or your staff with the opportunity to learn about AND use new temporary crown materials and processes. On average, a Dental Assistant takes 15-20 minutes to make a temporary crown that fits. This presentation and hands-on training by Dentsply Sirona’s local Restorative team on provisional technique, teaches participants to complete this procedure in half the time. That’s 7-10 minutes – that’s faster, easier and more efficient – which translates to a meaningful improvement in productivity and patient experience. This hands-on workshop includes ALL materials and tools needed to make a temporary during the hands-on portion based on the tips, techniques, materials reviewed by the Dentsply Sirona team during the lecture portion.

Upon completion of this course, participants will:

  • Be able to create a matrix allowing them to easily make a provisional that fits and requires less adjustment
  • Be knowledgeable about techniques making the provisional process easier and faster
  • Understand the importance of selecting the right material characteristics and tools for crown/bridge temporization
