DESCRIPTION	The Foundation is the 501(c)3 not-for-profit charity arm of the Dental Society. The Foundation provides dental services to those who otherwise would not be able to afford it, focusing especially on children. Smiles For Kids is a project of the Foundation. The Foundation offers several sub-committees geared for those who enjoy meeting new people and assisting with fund raising projects and public relations for the Foundation.

INSIGHT	If you’d like to get involved with helping the community through the Foundation, please contact the SDDS office. Foundation Board members are nominated by the Nominating Committee and are elected onto the Board.
