Rights & Privileges of Dual Membership:

CLASSIFICATION

A dentist who maintains membership in good standing in the American Dental Association and their appropriate California component Society, who practices a minimum of one day a week in our component jurisdiction, may be classified as a dual member.

PRIVILEGES

A dual member enjoys all the privileges of an active member except the right to hold an SDDS office simultaneously as with another component, or serve as a CDA delegate or alternate.

 


 

Rights & Privileges of Affiliate Membership:

CLASSIFICATION

A dentist who maintains membership in good standing in the American Dental Association and is not otherwise eligible for active or life membership in this Society may be classified as an affiliate member
of this Society.

PRIVILEGES

Affiliate members in good standing shall receive the following benefits of membership: a certificate of membership; a subscription to the SDDS Nugget; eligibility for CDA sponsored plans while residing in California; attendance at all SDDS events at member prices; and other services as are authorized by the Board of Trustees. Affiliate members shall have all the rights and privileges of active membership except the rights to hold elected office, Board positions, serve as a CDA delegate/alternate, and/or vote in any election, referendum, meeting.
